06.03.2015 CISRS News Update

CISRS has been informed that ASTRA Access Safety Training Ltd in Darton, South Yorkshire went into administration on Friday 27th February 2015. At the present time we do not have any information as to the circumstances, but calls to their office number are now being diverted to UTN in Wakefield who may be able to offer some advice.

CISRS will accept certificates of training for CISRS courses undertaken with ASTRA prior to the above date. If you have completed Training with ASTRA recently and have not received a CISRS certificate we may be able to find proof of your attendance via course notifications. You would need to supply your name, date of birth, NI number, courses dates etc.

Unfortunately we have not been informed as to what action will be taken for those people who have submitted portfolios to ASTRA for assessment, we could only suggest at this stage that it may useful to contact another CISRS approved provider and re-eegister for VQ and subsequent Skills test with them. A list of providers is available on the CISRS website
